I asked this over on the youtube video, but is it a cord lock that controls the door? If so, no issues with it freezing?

Also, what is the floor of the inner? Same material as the liners? Any issues with durability there?

No it is opposing dual line locs .. works well in freezing ,snow etc. I imagine if the guy line is iced all over it would be a problem but we have not seen that happen. It has been in several snow storms and transitions between rain and snow (that was our big worry).
Other friction can work as well like various knots .. but we found this to be the best and it really works well enough we see no need to device our own device.

Will this be one of the models available in DCF? Footprint wise, bigger or smaller than a Silvertip?

Likely , about the same footprint. May seem a bit larger

How does this compare to the LBO in terms of
-foot print
-wind shedding
-snow loading
-livability (looks obviously like sitting up would be not so easy)
-# of stakes

Thank you Kevin

Vs LBO ... about the same in most regards. 8 Stakes.

Sitting is ok .. it's bigger than it looks. It is about 50 inches tall so less tall.

Less noisy than the LBO
