crazy wind and thunder storm in the 4 man this weekend...wow!!...the stove wasn't running so i had to take the pipe off and close the stove jack lid because water was pissing by the stove jack hole all the way on the stove's pipe.I will put some SILNET on zipper coil fabric because i noticed a lot of water passing through.

Nice pics, and great memories.

I had some rain on the 6-man. I hadn't seam sealed it. The only place I got some water in was around the stove jack seam. I need to get it sealed up.

A rain like in my video is rare...put to me it was THE test with this heavy rain and strong wind...i am happy how the tipi hang on...it was not pitched tight to the ground(using the Moffat style guyouts),not very good in this kind of weather but Mother nature throw Fecal Matter when she want.

It depends what part of Montana. In the northwest, they get a good deal more than here.

Locally we only get about 11 inches per year, but sometimes it can come in fierce thunderstorms and hailstorms.
